Have you ever considered how interesting the English language is? I am still realizing the simplicity and complexity of it. Well that might be confusing but I’ll explain. So we have phrases like the one I heard talking about if your blind or experiencing blindness go “see” a doctor. Now sorry but that’s kind of confusing…. ok not really but it’s odd. Then we have phrases like notebook ( a book for notes) and cookies (cooking e’s) I don’t know they are odd. There are so many more. You have to think though who came up with these words? I think most of them are made up when people accidentally say it or really think it’s a word cause it just makes sense. An example would be my word “beforewards” its just like afterwards. I mean seriously beforewards should be a word. I say it all the time and my mom always makes fun of me, but I think it works. Are their any strange words you enjoy? Or words you’ve made up? Maybe they will be in the dictionary some day. That would rock. Rock on homeboy….. (what’s that supposed to mean, seriously were did those come from?)

Hi Spencer!
Have you ever heard the comedian Gallagher talk about the strange words in our English language? You’d appreciate all the words he comes up with. Things like: “Why do we park on a driveway, but drive on the parkway?”
My made up word is ‘beautimus’. I just like the sound of it.
