So as most of you know, and for those of you that don’t know. I have Mono. It really isn’t very fun. It isn’t THAT bad, but definitely not fun. I haven’t felt like I was going to die except for on Tuesday when my mouth was so swollen that I couldn’t breath…..ok maybe that is a little exaggeration. Yes my mouth was swollen, yes I could hardly swallow, but I could breath rather well. I probably wouldn’t have been able to breath if my throat had swollen any more but it didn’t and I’m alive. So it really isn’t that bad.

Apparently though, the virus is more dangerous than I thought. Or at least, according to the get well card I got from people yesterday it is more serious. They think I might die! Well maybe that is just a joke. Either way here is a few things people said to me.

-Not many die from Mono but hey, maybe you will! Just kidding! -Katie Rhodes-

It was great getting a giant purple poster saying get well from multiple people. I loved it. Hopefully I will be back in school Monday. I don’t think I will be there tomorrow.

p.s. Mono isn’t that bad after the first few days, or at least, it isn’t that bad once you start taking drugs… Sunday was bad, Monday was bad, Tuesday was terrible but past that it has been ok….. maybe that’s just cause I’ve been taking 3 ibuprofens and 500mg Tylenol sore throat drink at the same time. Hmmm. Who knows.
