I have no idea what to do after my senior year. I don’t feel like going to college and incurring debt. I don’t feel like going to college and doing “the norm”. I don’t feel like going to college and “learning” stuff I don’t care about. I just want to get on with my life… Whatever that means. Since I don’t know what I want to do with my life, I will ponder it all through the year until I hit graduation. Hopefully by then I will have come to a conclusion, but, if not, I plan on living all the same.

Yes! YES YES YES!! I may have one more year than you but that’s EXACTLY how i feel. Why school? It wastes my time! I want to live my life and spend time doing what i love! I could get the same schooling in a whole lot less time!
it’s funny becasue i asked you yesterday if you still had this cite because i haven’t been to it since like 2006 i think… it was fun to come back to it today when i was bored on the web… and you just happen to have made a post today! Lucky me!

I have a question or two…should we always do only what we feel like doing? does it really matter where you live your life if you’re living it as God has called you to live? perhaps that means in college. perhaps it means not in college. just going where He calls us to go. and if we don’t know where He’s calling us, then perhaps going where it seems you can best serve Him. College to me is a means to an end. the end being a stable career in this society i live in so that i can support myself and the family perhaps i’ll one day have. but it’s also going somewhere. meeting people. i struggle with your perspective that being in college is not living yet. because living happens where ever you go. it’s just a choice of how you live it. but apathy ? . . .

For the record, it is very possible to go to college and still not be following the norm or learning crap you’re not interested in. l mean, as long as you don’t major in something boring like business or psychology. Everyone does those. Just do something random and interesting. Like linguistics.
