Hey! This page is all about me, the author. I decided to start this page with the basics, then get into some of the more personal stuff. So my name is Spencer Carson. I currently live at home, work full time, run my eBay business on the side and have a beautiful girlfriend named Annie. I love to travel, snowboard, ski, bike, camp, disc golf, bargain hunt, buy-sell-trade, and just plain enjoy life. I haven’t figured out what I want to do with my life yet but I’m pretty sure it will be along the lines of running my own business or being a pastor.
I read a lot anything and everything, magazines (PC world, Backpacker, Portland Monthly), books (Ted Dekker,  Robert Liparulo, the Bible, Frank Peretti, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, T. Davis Bunn, Clive Cussler), Comics (the Sunday paper, Calvin and Hobbes, The Far Side, XCKD), Blogs and websites (all of them). I love music, and listen dance to it frequently. I like, Dave Matthews Band, The Classic Crime, Anberlin, Mute Math, MAE, Green Day, James Blunt, David Crowder Band, Lifehouse, Jack Johnson, Paul Wright, the Eagles, Barenaked Ladies, Maroon 5, Seal, Billy Joel and Bruce Hornsby to name a few.

Lately I’ve really gotten into sailing and disc golf. I started sailing in March or April of 2008 and by my birthday in August I had owned 2 sailboats and a sailboard. I am a proud owner of a Lightning sailboat and I crew on Tuesday nights at my local club (www.vlsc.org). If you ever want to go sailing just let me know! As for disc golf I try to  play at least 3-4 times a month if not more.
I work at Next Adventure (www.NextAdventure.net) in downtown Portland. It’s an 11 mile bike ride each way and I work there 4-5 days a week. I’m usually stationed in the Bargain Basement dealing with used items but occasionally make it out of the dungeon to help with disc golf, snowboards and camping.

Riley- The youngest, craziest. He loves the outdoors, cars, football and any sports. Lately he’s been really really into skiing and recently started working for ON3P skis. He of course is “all that” and nobody is as cool as he is.

Cameron-Oldest Brother. Pretty geeky, works at Best Buy and just got married. His new wife Kate is an amazing person who fits in with our family amazingly well. They live less than a mile from us and are enjoying their first time living out of the house and living together.

Lorraine-The Mom. Is a self employed Interior Decorator, she loves to rearrange our rooms. You never know what our house will look like. Just because our house looks nice doesn’t mean we are rich, my mom just likes those things. Great bargain hunter like me, Goodwill etc.

Steve-The Dad. Works for Applied Motion Systems, who come up with better ways to increase production of products. They basically rework the machines the build things to be more efficient. Enjoys computers, building them and building websites. He currently hosts other peoples websites for extra cash on the side. He loves his big screen TV in the basement and our home theatre system, enjoys watching Nascar Races and Football. He also used to play football and drives like a he’s a racer. “I’m not tailgating, I’m DRAFTING!” He has lately gotten very involved in Disc Golf and is the president of Stumptown Disc Golf Club. He also pretty much handbuilt Leverich park in Vancouver.
Well that concludes the rest of the family. We are fairly odd, but I wont go into major detail.
I like to be different. That is me. I don’t like Ipods, Converse shoes, Live-strong bracelets, Hollister, Starbucks, the PSP, Halo and any other over worn, bought and used companies and items. I’m not saying these products are bad I just don’t like to be like everyone else, I like to be my own. Check out my Media link for more on those subjects. Anyway I often like to rant and rave about those subjects and Religion, evolution and politics. I love to laugh and am considered to be more of a sentimental guy compared to some.
