Hey! This page is all about me, the author. I decided to start this page with the basics, then get into some of the more personal stuff. So my name is Spencer Carson. I am an 12th grader at Vancouver School of Arts and Academics. I am currently focusing in theatre, vocal and taking Dance level 3/focus. I am somewhat of a nerd I must admit. When I say somewhat it means a pretty big one. I have built many of my own computers and taken apart and replaced parts in multiple laptops. I find it fun sometimes to edit HTML on my blogs, of which I have many. I have been running blogs for about 4 years. I use Ebay regularly to sell and buy things and love making deals. I’m an entrepreneur.

I go to Compass Church, which I love. I help out with the preschoolers 2 weeks on then 2 weeks off and love it also. I really enjoy working with children. I read a lot anything and everything, magazines (PC world, Computer Magazine), books (Ted Dekker,  Robert Liparulo, the Bible, Frank Peretti), Comics (the Sunday paper, Calvin and Hobbes, The Far Side), Blogs and websites (all of them). I love music, and listen to it constantly. I like Relient K, Switchfoot, Mute Math, MAE, Green Day (slightly), James Blunt, David Crowder Band, Lifehouse, The Classic Crime, Jack Johnson, Paul Wright, the Eagles, Barenaked Ladies, Maroon 5, Seal, Billy Joel and Bruce Hornsby to name a few.

Lately I’ve really gotten into sailing and disc golf. I started sailing in March or April of 2008 and by my birthday in August I had bought 2 sailboats and a sailboard. I am a proud owner of a Lightning sailboat and I crew on them on Tuesday nights at my local club (www.vlsc.org). If you ever want to go sailing just let me know! As for disc golf I finally bought myself some discs and have been playing at least 3-4 times a month if not more.

I enjoy hanging out at Ice Cream Renaissance with friends. Having them over to my house for movies, or going to movies, and just hanging out with them in general. My family is a rather interesting one. We could run our own version of Malcom in the Middle if you wanted. That is one of the shows we loved to watch, (of the little TV we do watch) Well to describe my family.

Riley- The youngest, crazy and attention wanter. He loves the outdoors, cars, football and any sports. Riley likes to annoy me at school and hang out by me, but he’s a really cool guy.
Cameron-Oldest Brother. Would live in the basement if allowed. Tends to love to wear the same 2 sets of clothes 18 times in a row. Is very loyal to his friends and doesn’t branch out often.

Lorraine-The Mom. Is a self employed Interior Decorator, she loves to rearrange our rooms. You never know what our house will look like. Just because our house looks nice doesn’t mean we are rich, my mom just likes those things. Great bargain hunter like me, Goodwill etc.

Steve-The Dad. Works for Applied Motion Systems, who come up with better ways to increase production of products. They basically rework the machines the build things to be more efficient. Enjoys computers, building them and building websites. He currently hosts other peoples websites for extra cash on the side. He loves his big screen TV in the basement and our home theatre system, enjoys watching Nascar Races and Football. He also used to play football and drives like a he’s a racer. “I’m not tailgating, I’m DRAFTING!”

Well that concludes the rest of the family. We are fairly odd, but I wont go into major detail.

The newest addition to our “family” (quote, unqoute)  is Kate Story, she is my brothers girlfriend, and most likely his soon to be wife, which is scary to think about. She’s a cool girl and always makes you smile. She fits right in with us, and we are all excited to see where their relationship goes.
I like to be different. That is me. I don’t like Ipods, Converse shoes, Live-strong bracelets, Hollister, Starbucks, the PSP, Halo and any other over worn, bought and used companies and items. I’m not saying these products are bad I just don’t like to be like everyone else, I like to be my own. Check out my Media link for more on those subjects. Anyway I often like to rant and rave about those subjects and Religion, evolution and politics. I love to laugh and am considered to be more of a sentimental guy compared to some.
