We are still in Beta.

So my cousin Aubrianne recently started a blog. It really is pretty good, though mine is definitely better. . . . . ok maybe I’m just jealous because she can write deep, meaningful cool and humorous posts, and I can’t. Mine are usually lame, or just deep and insightful, but boring. Plus I don’t have a spell checker! Anyway. It’s interesting reading her blog because my friends say that it is just like mine, and that she is just like me only female. This makes me laugh because we have been told before that we look like siblings but I never would have guessed we think alike. It’s also interesting because my mom always says I’m like her dad, my uncle Ken. Something to do with God, Jesus, Philosophy, Bibles, and Churches. I really don’t know. So now that Aubrianne has a blog, I guess there is pressure to keep mine updated, and good. The Aublog also makes me happy because when I read her posts theycan give me insight on what to write and just make me laugh. Oh and it boosts my site rating. The more links that head to my site, the higher the rating! BOY-YAH! So go check hers out, and comment, it makes us bloggers feel loved!

Ok so I don’t want to disrupt the posts of my 3 part series but I just wanted to let you all know that my Shoutbox is being spammed. So it is currently down while I try and figure out what’s going on, how to stop the spamming, etc. Sorry about that! It might be a while because I am currently at the beach and to get a connection to the internet I have to go sit outside a neighbors house, in the sand, roasting hot. So yeah. I will work on it but don’t expect it to be up for a while! Once again sorry!

So last night while reading my devotions I had a moment of inspiration. Or at least kind of. Basically I had these three great ideas about posts on obedience and following God. Or something like that. I promptly wrote them down, but since I’m going to Manzanita this week I decided I could set up the site to give you a post every 2 days from this pre-written series. The first post will be Saturday.

It’s all set up and boy am I excited! These posts turned out better than I expected I can’t wait for you to see them!

So I lately checked my stat counter report. Basically it tells me things like how many visitors I’ve had and how many page loads etc. etc. it goes a lot more in depth but I’m just giving you the basics. I got the stat counter in April and starte the site in December so it doesn’t show from the beginning but it’s interesting to see the growth just over the last 4 months. This month it looks like I will have a new record high because we are only half way through July and I’m a little above half on unigue visitors and returning visitors and page loads is already the same as last month. So it looks like I’ll hit a record high.

So with all this work on this website and the new one I have and am working on, I’m getting quite familar with different web publishing programs. This is good because the more experience I have with them the more I can help others. Also, the more I learn the cooler I can make my websites look, but in reality a website looking cool isn’t what brings back the visitors, good content is. Currently I wish I had some thought provoking thing to say so that I could bring you all back again and again, but I don’t. I got my own URL!!!!!! Ok you might think that’s really geeky but it’s cool. It’s like owning your own piece of land. You have to pay for a registration by the year and it’s pretty cheap. I’m not gonna tell you the URL until I get the site in better working order but just had to say it rocks! This is the first site that isn’t my part of my dad’s or on Google or Myspace or Livejournal or Xanga etc. etc. It’s my own domain! Wow. Haha. Ok enough geekness for now.

So I was just using Writely.com (Which is a great site) Anyway, it’s still in beta. (actually a lot of things are in Beta, especially when it comes to Google owned products. Some things aren’t in beta but they still need revisions. Some say beta and don’t need revisions.) Back to the point. So I was thinking you know what, I’m still in Beta. I mean, God’s still working on me (and just like Google which never gets out of Beta) and I will always be in Beta. God will always be working on me and you whether you like it or not.
