I just finished watching The Prince of Egypt. It has got to be my favorite movie. I don’t watch it much but when I do. Wow. There sure is a lot you can learn from the story of Moses and his people. Or the story of the Egyptian slaves, or whatever you want to call the story.
-Following that one lost sheep might bring you a lot more than you expected.
-God uses the most unlikely people. Seriously, how old was Moses, And look at his history; he killed a man, he was a Hebrew that grew up a prince of his own people, so they hated him, he knew hardly anything of the Hebrew God. He only knew about the Egyptian Gods, he was a Shepard, he was the brother of the man he “fought”, he killed his own nephew (Pharaoh’s son).
-People might refuse help, because they don’t want you to fail them.
-Don’t over worry.
-No matter how long it takes for God to answer your prayers, he will.
-After something amazing happens, don’t shrug it off. Look where it got Pharaoh, because he shrugged off the amazing powers off God as nothing his Son died, and then he still shrugged it off and went after them again.
-Never underestimate a good staff (walking stick)
